Paris, November 11th
 

I'll be in Paris on November 11th, Armistice Day. Can anyonw tell me what will be opened/closed for the holiday. I'm hoping we can get into some museums/shops

deb123, there will be a big parade on the Champs in the morning and, obviously, a ceremony at the Arc and a lesser one at Pl. Clemenceau.

The Turner, Whistler, Monet exhibition at the Grand Palais is open so I would expect other museums to be open also. Have you checked websites for d'Orsay and Louvre?

That will be the first day of my 63rd year on the planet, so I'm sure it's going to be a mighty fine day in The City. :-)
