PARIS, Notre Dame 387 steps?

Greetings everyone!
I have read that it is 387 steps to the Gargoyle level at Notre Dame? How are the stairs? Are there places or landings to rest along the way? Bathroom close by? It will be a challange but we are determined. So, can you please give me details.

MERCI
Sunny

I recall a corkscrew worn stone staircase with few stops available, and I do not recall any facilities.

Narrow, tight, uneven, dark spiral staircase that goes on seemingly forever. Don't think there's a bathroom.

thanks Michael!

Confirming everything StCirq described, and there definitely is no bathroom close by - need to descend via the same narrow stairs to the ground level to access the bathrooms - and there are no landings or places to stop along the way.

Understand the allure of making the ascent but if it seems infeasible another option for a great view is the Arc de Triomphe where there is a handicapped access elevator - and 360 degree views, too. .

There are rest stops along the way, but it is a tight, twisting climb to the top. Glad I did it though.
