Paris nights in February

We will be in Paris 4 nights next week and are trying to plan some nightime activities. We were there this past July and have done the Seine cruise but does anyone know if they run all year?
I'm guessing a lot of sights will shut down around 5:00.
Any suggestions for nights? Two of our group are first-timers to Paris.

Eiffel Tower is nice at night (all twinkly) Approach from Trocadero.

I often go to concerts in churches at night (usually classical). There is a "candlelit" concert at St Chapelle.

Many people here have recommended jazz clubs.

You can, if you must, do Moulin Rouge, Folies Bergeres, Crazy Horse,etc...

Seine cruises still operation.

The Seine cruise is beautiful at night, when the buildings are lit up, but be prepared for the cold. I know they have seating indoors, but viewing was much better from the open air seats. Make sure you have a hat, gloves and warm coat.

We were in Paris last February, and to maximize sightseeing time, we had dinner late, then walked home from wherever we were. I would say that we generally ate at 8pm.

Some museums are open on certain evenings. The Champs was as crowded as I've ever seen it, but a walk to Sephora at night is one of my favorite things to do.

Not my husband's, though....

Thank you so much everyone. Great suggestions...I didn't realize the stores along Champs would be open at night...will definitely check out Sephora, too!

In researching our trip coming up at the end of March, I've found:

Pompidou Museum is open til 9:30-9:45 Sunday through Thurs.

Orsay open til 9:45 Thurs.

Louvre open til 9:45 Weds and Fri.

(Please double check these times - I don't have my notes with me!)

We're also giving serious thought to taking the nighttime Fat Tire Bike Tour, which includes a Seine river cruise. I've seen nothing but great comments about this. Check their web site for info. Night time tours look like they start Feb 15. http://www.fattirebiketoursparis.com...ght-tour.shtml

A lot of people also seem to prefer the Eiffel Tower at night, when the lines are much shorter.

Have fun!

We were in Paris last March and enjoyed many evenings sitting on cafe sidewalks under propane heaters, sipping wine -- even if the weather was pretty cold. We loved it.

Also, many shops in the Marais are open late, too, depending on what day of the week it is. Bon voyage!
