Paris Museum Pass--Where best for us to purchase?

I think that while in Paris in June, we should purchase the 2-Day Museum Pass as we will try to go to at least 4 and perhaps as many as 6 of the sites on the Pass; even if we “only” go to 4 and don’t save a lot of money, we think having the Pass will be worth some time-in-line savings.

My question is where will be the easiest place for my husband and me to buy the Museum Pass?

1.We are arriving in Paris separately; I will arrive with a group of students at Gare du Nord and set off immediately with our tour guide, so don’t know if I’d have time to get Passes there. If I do have time, this would be an obvious sorta easy place, unless this Pass-selling spot is hard to find--Gare du Nord Reception at18 rue de Dunkerque, Paris 10--Gare du Nord "Welcome Booth" under the atrium, at the new Gare Ile-de-France.

2. DH arrives the next day at CDG, gets car rental, drives to hotel and parks, and gets Metro in to meet me (still with kids) somewhere. We don’t know exactly what this day will look like yet, as it sorta depends on when and where we end up meeting, but I don’t see a convenient place to purchase the Passes on our itinerary.

3.DH and I will leave the next day for a 6 night loop and end up back in Paris, sans auto, for 3 nights and 2 whole days. It is these days that we would use the Pass, so we’d want to have it before we set off the morning of our first whole day in Paris.

4.Our hotel in Paris is near the Eiffel Tower and near the Quai Branly Museum. While this is not a museum we figure we will go to on this our first visit to Paris, it is open til 9 on the day we arrive. So we could get the Pass there, right? Just get the Pass at that ticket office without going into that Museum?

Any other comments about the Pass are welcome, too.
