Paris Museum Pass

I will be in Paris next week for a few days. I would like to spend one day to see the D'Orsay and Rodin museums. I've read there is a one-day Museum Pass but can't find any info on it. Everything I see refers to a 3 day, 5 day, etc. Does anyone if there is a one day and what it costs. Thanks. Nora

Hi Nora -

The passes used to be for 1,3,5 days, but now are for 2,4,6. There is no longer a one day option.

The only current passes run for 2, 4, or 6 days. There used to be a 1, 3, and 5 day passes, but the system has been changed.

Jinx! :)

If those are the only two museums you plan to visit, I don't think a pass would be cost-effective anyway.

Agreed - although not having to queue for tickets at the Orsay because you have the Pass has a certain intangible value.

Thanks everyone. I just went on the Orsay Museum site and there appears to be a "passporte" that I can purchase that covers only those 2 museums. It appears it can be ordered online or purchased at the FNAC stores which are scattered through out Paris. This may be the better solution.

That would be a good idea, I see they also have a pass combining the Orsay with l'Orangerie, would be another good duo.

Kewl! They also have an Orsay/Rodin pass. Here's the page:

On the above-mentioned website, I also see:

Keep your ticket!
In the week following the date on your Musée d'Orsay entrance ticket you can take advantage of reduced rates:
to buy a ticket for the Gustave Moreau National Museum
to visit the Palais Garnier (Paris National Opera) unguided

Since unguided admission to the Garnier is I think 8€, this would appear to be quite a savings.
