We will be traveling to Paris mid to late June. Many of the hotels were looking at don't have air conditioning. Should we try to limit our choices to the one's with A/C. <BR>Any Hotel suggestions would be greatly appreciated. There are 2 adults and our 13 year old daughter. It's a graduation trip. Next year she will be going to Notre Dame High School in our area.

I was last in Paris in early September, and it was pretty warm. I stayed in a hotel without air conditioning, and I didn't mind opening the windows--it cooled off pretty quickly. However, i wasn't prepared for the noise that carries so easily on narrow streets--it became a trade-off: quiet and hot, or cool and noisy. And it doesn't really start to quiet down until midnight during the week and about 2 a.m. on the weekends. I'd opt for a hotel with air conditioning if you want both quiet and coolness! But Paris is beautiful even if you have to endure heat--I'm going back for a long weekend in May. Bon chance!

Jim <BR>Paris weather can be very unpredictable, but if your family normally wants air conditioning when it's warm out, then I would opt for a/c. <BR>Check the websites www.paris.org or <BR>www.hotelboulevard.com for information on hotels and their amenities like a/c. <BR>Or do a search on this forum for <BR>Paris hotels, the suggestions are many, but you'd have to still check to see which hotels have a/c as many of the budget ones don't. Don't wait any longer to book, as many Paris hotels will already be full.

Jim--my family was in Paris at the end of last June. It was a bit warm when we arrived and we did use the air conditioning. We made sure we stayed somewhere with air conditioning because we did not want a heat wave to keep us up at night. We are accustomed to air conditioning and having a good nights sleep was important to us.

We just returned and I would suggest that you try the Hotel Sainte Beuve. It <BR>is around the corner, on a small, quiet <BR>street from the NOTRE DAME de champs Metro station and near the church of the <BR>same name. It is air conditioned although we did not need it.Check it on the web at &lt;www.hotel-sainte-beuve.fr&gt;

We were in Paris in mid-June last year. Our hotel had air, but we did not need it. (I am one who gets hot very easily.) Of course, this June could be warmer than last year. Our hotel was a great one, near the Louvre -- Hotel Louvre Marsollier. You can read about it and book it at www.hotelboulevard.com <BR>Have a "cool" trip.

We were in Paris this past summer at the end of June. While the weather was not unbearably hot, we were glad our hotel was air conditioned(especially after a day of walking). We stayed at the Hotel des Jardins du Luxembourg in the 5th. It is a very nice hotel but the rooms are quite small(par for the course in Paris). I believe we paid about 125USD per night.
