Paris Metro Closures??

Hello Fellow Fodorites! I am an "American in Paris" right now :-) and want to know which, if any, Metro lines and/or RER lines (or stations) are currenly closed? I am asking because the RER C was closed a few days ago at our transfer point (Charles de Gaulle RER B) and we walked quite a way trying to figure out how to get anywhere. I would like to avoid that again! Thank you in advance! (Merci!)

The stations between Trocadéro and Montparnasse (Etoile-Austerlitz line?)are closed for an extended period of time; there is a shuttle bus to replace the métro.

No, that is line 6 that has the western elevated section closed but with a replacement bus for people who absolutely need to go someone on the closed section.

There are also a few metro stations closed here and there for renovation, but it is always clearly indicated.

Here is all of the news about closures on the RATP: http://www.ratp.fr/informer/trafic/travaux_ratp.php

(The RER C line is operated by the SNCF, so there is a different site to visit for such things.)

They always close some stations every summer, in particular, as they do repairs at that time. I always thought they listed them in the metro stations on the monitors, also (aside from the website, of course).

They always close some stations every summer,

In this instance it is a whole section that is closed so that one cannot ride the line from one end to the other without changing to a shuttle bus.

All construction sites are indicated on this very useful interactive RATP map. Look for the orange and white cones and hover over them for details of the disruptions.
