Paris - Marne de Vallé - Strasbourg
Hello
I´d like to know, please, if the tgv line Paris - Strasbourg, makes a stop in Eurodisneys, Marne de Vallé. And if not what is that tgv line? |
Are you trying to reach Marne-la-Vallée from Paris or some other location?
|
According to bahn.de at least some of the Strasbourg-Paris TGVs stop at Marne de Vallé. If you're in Paris, you need the RER A, from Paris Lyon, not the TGV.
|
Paris-Strasbourg TGVs do NOT go via Marne la Vallee-Chessy. However, there are some TGVs that go directly from Marne la Vallee-Chessy to Strasbourg. You can also take a ten-minute TGV ride to CDG and take another TGV from there to Strasbourg. Go to www.bahn.de for timetables. Enter Marne la Vallee-Chessy as your departure point and Strasbourg as your arrival point. After you get summary timetables, click on "Show details for all" to see the connecting points. In addition to the routes I've mentioned, you'll be shown routes that would require you to take the RER A from Marne la Vallee-Chessy to Paris where you would depart from Paris Est (Gare de l'Est).

Adding to my post above. Most Paris-Strasbourg TGVs go non-stop between those cities.
|
My problem is that i´l arrive at CDG airport and i have a TGV ticket to Strasbourg. i really don~t know if its direct from there.
Secondly when i return from strsbourg i ´m thinking go to eurodisney |
What is the departure time on your CDG-Strasbourg ticket? TGVs departing at 07:46 and 12:54 go directly to Strasbourg. If you depart CDG on the 10:27 TGV, you will change to another TGV at Marne la Vallee-Chessy.
TGVs going directly from Strasbourg to Marne la Vallee-Chessy depart at 06:25, 07:45, 08:56, 14:20, 16:36, and 17:56. You can also leave Strasbourg at 19:00 on a TGV to CDG and connect there for the ten-minute ride on another TGV to Marne la Vallee-Chessy. See for yourself at www.bahn.de. |
my ticket says
departure: Paris east 14h24 - arrival : strasbourg station at 16:45 I was in that site but in german....sorry don´t understand. Thanks again for your help TimS and all the other fodorites Paulo |
Sorry i didn.t see the _other languages file.
I´l do some rechearch.... |
I should have called your attention to the drop-down menu for other languages on the DB site. Sorry.
Your train leaves from Gare de l'Est (Paris East) in central Paris. The simplest way to get from CDG to Gare de l'Est is to take the RER B from the airport to Gare du Nord (about a 40-minute ride) and then take a less-than-ten-minute walk to Gare de l'Est. The fare is €8.40. There are two RER stations at CDG. For detailed information (including photos) on how to find them, go to www.parisbytrain.com. You'll also find links there to RER and Metro maps. |
Thank you again.
You are a real fodorite. The TGV site is a confusion so when i bought the ticket i realize that CDG is in the route from Paris to strasbourg. No problem, i´l arrive at 11 AM so i have enough time to make the conection like you said. Many thanks Paulo |
You're welcome, Paulo.
Have a great trip! Tim |
