Paris March 6-19, meet up for dinner?
 

I will be in Paris between March 6 and 19 and would be happy to get together with people who are living there or visiting at that time. I have had some memorable evenings this way in the past and hope we can organize something while I’m there.

I had heard Pariswat is not working in Paris any more. Is he? If so sure. What days could he make it?

We are available on the 6th and 7th...then afterwards the 12th to the 15th.........does this work for you guys?

Of Traviata’s dates, I am available the 7th, 13th and 15th. The 6th is my arrival day, but if it is the only day for someone, I could probably make it.

March 13 it is! Restaurant suggestions? Maybe PW has some ideas, he knows a million places.

L'estrapade has been suggested to me more than once....and I think PW also mentioned it. I have peeked in and it is not very big, so our smaller group would be great. Have a look and see what you think. It is in the 5th not far from the Pantheon.

I would like to be there but the Estrapade is not very big. I´m not sure how many people could possibly attend.

Sarastro.....you are right about the space. But, for sure, we'd love you to be there....should we consider moving around the block to Lilane?? Bigger and very, very good. We have met there before......

Mrs. Sarastro and I will definitely attend and Lilane is a fabulous restaurant.

Fury -- for me, possibly one day at Trois Crabes in the 12th, maybe with Pariswat. So tired of French restaurants in Paris!

Have we decided to move to Lilane for more space? If so, and if no reservations have been made yet, I'll be happy to walk over tonight to make them. They are closed on Sunday and Monday..........

You have validated my decision to not attend such events. For me, four participants is a maximum at a dinner for meaningful conversation and encounters among strangers. (No, I no longer attend big parties either even among people I know because I find them too complicated.) Now that Fodor's has a PM function, I might finally decide to meet a few more people.

Just me of course -- all of you are doing the right thing for your own lives.
