How far is it from St-Michel Notre-Dame RER to Métro Cluny-La Sorbonne?

Mappy gives driving directions. Because of one-way streets, it's 1.1 km.

I want to know how far it is as the crow flies (dragging a 22" rollaround through pedestrian tunnels).

.3km, it says. But it shows the RER at Petit Pont. Don't the tracks actually go down Boul'miche?

You can connect from St Michel RER to Cluny metro without leaving the station (or at least, you used to be able to, as I regularly took that route a few years ago). It's about a five minute walk, perhaps longer if you have unwieldy luggage. And it's closer to the RER B line than the RER C.
You go through a long corridor with a moving walkway - if you're lucky it'll be going in the direction you want to go! (If it's working at all).

Why don't you walk it "virtually" with pagesjaune?

The RER tracks do go roughly under bd St Michel, but what's that got to do with the RER stop which is roughly at the bottom of that bridge logistically. I haven't done that in a while, but would estimate it more around .20 km. But if you know where the RER St Michel stop is and where the Cluny metro stop is (I thought you'd been in Paris a lot and would know those two points), it's not too different than the distance between them.

If you exit the RER at the corner of St. Michel and the Quai, all you need do is cross the street and walk two blocks up St. Michel to the Cluny metro stop.

Jeez. Did I blunder into a hormone storm or something?

What the alignment of the tracks has to do with my question is the fact that the Mappy route begins at the Petit Pont and has to go west to get over to the longitude of Cluny station. I thought that was wrong, and was looking for corroboration.

Yes, I have been in Paris an average of several times a year since 1963, but how would I know the distance of that particular route if I had never walked it underground?
