Paris Long Term Apartment Rental

Does anyone have any knowledge of agencies that offer apartments for rent on a monthly basis? I'm looking for something in Paris for a three month stay. Everything I've seen so far is only on a weekly time frame.

Thank you!

I'm using an agency called Paris Attitude.
www.parisattitude.com.
34 avenue des Champs Elysees Paris
Tel: (33) 142963146
I'm only renting an apartment for a week but they have many apartments available on a monthly basis.
If you do go with them you pay a agency fee.
For example my apartment is 520 euro a week. 120 euro of that figure is the agency fee.
This apartment is 1200 euro a month, agency fee not included. I have no idea how much they would charge for 3 months.
Good luck and have a wonderful time.

The bonjourparis.com site has a thread on this subject, and someone's posted rental sites.

How many people? I saw something today at work for a retal of a studio on the noticeboard and I think they may rent by the month. Its in the 15th. If you are interested I will mail you the address.

Hi SiobhanP, Thanks for responding! I'm only looking for a two person place, a one bedroom. I'm really only doing research at the moment. We are thinking about this for Autumn of 2005 and I'm trying to see what prices are and if we can afford it!

I'm replying to Kimerley regarding parisattitude.com Did you stay in their apartment? How were they to deal with? Did everything go as they said? What was the quality of your apartment? (e.g. clean, well furnished, everything as promised) Thanks

Hi Opaldog,
the apartment was lovely, you get what you pay for I think. We did not pay much but it was very clean and comfortable with the most fantastic views over a private park in the 7th.The owner was away so her mother who lived in the same apartment block met us.
Our apartment was a very short walk to Au Bon Marche which has a fabulous food hall, very handy for our breakfast each morning.
The only pain was budget wise that I had to leave a deposit of 400 Euro on arrival. I got it back on my departure day and then flew back to Sydney...a very sad day. I just adore Paris.

We rented one month through www.yourparishome.com email [email protected] Great website and good info, the pictures are just what you get, easy to work with, would use again. We were in the 14th living in an apartment with Parisians, shopping in the close by stores. Close to Metro and bus.We needed a lift and many apartments do not have. Think of lugging your bags up several flights, and your groceries, and what about laundry?
I think she gives discounts for long stays.
Others to check cyberrentals.com,vrbo.com, and Citadines.com, Barclayweb.com can book the Citadines apartment. We used them in Barcelona, and Lisbon.
I would try to book early if going for 3 months. Lisa

Cigalechanta:
Have you had personal experience with go2france.bigstep.com The apartment is on a pedestrian street on the border of the 3rd/4th. Do you know where it is? Do you know what the fee is? I did e-mail them. Thanks
Kimerley:
Thanks for the reply on paris attitude. Was the 400 euros in cash?

cigalechanta Sep 19th, 2004 12:30 PM
