Paris lodging
I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am a college student going to Europe to visit my girlfriend. We will be travelling to Paris and I was looking for an inexpensive clean place to stay. If anyone has any advice on this topic it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi jr,
What's your budget? When are you going? |
I am going from March 21-25 and I am on a tight budget. I do not really want to stay in a hostel with my girlfriend, but I need a clean, inexpensive hotel to stay in.

I've heard good things about the Hotel Tiquetonne but haven't stayed there myself.

Hotel Tiquetonne, as mentioned:

Also check www.paris.org, under Hotels (some feedback may be old). |
Travelnut, I think you are confusing the Villa Lutece Port Royal Hotel in the 13th with the Hotel Port-Royal in the 5th, which is the budget hotel.
The website you correctly gave is for the one in the fifth. It was written up in Conde Nast Travel last year as a great bargain. |
I wasn't confused with Villa Port Royal, but I didn't realize blvd Port Royal was the dividing line b/t the 2 arrondissements... I thought it was in the 13th since Metro Gobelins is in the 13th... Sorry for any confusion there... the website is the correct one.
