Hi Eileen, I have not stayed there but there have been very favorable comments in this forum in the past about the Angleterre and the Abbaye. If you do a search on those you'll find the comments. I will be curious myself to hear feedback on the Relais St Germain.
elaine

Elaine, thanks for your note and I will
do a search and see what I find - there
are so many hotels to choose from and since it may be a once in a lifetime trip I realy do want to pick a nice one!

Was in Paris last week. Stayed at Hotel Claude Bernard 32, rue des Echoles by the Sorbonne. Typical left bank hotel. Close to Blvd St. Michel and Blvd. St. Germain. Close to everything. About 910 frances for the largest room.

Hi Eileen

I visited Paris last May and stayed at the Lenox St Germain in Rue de l'Universite. Was v. impressed--small but romantic rooms, great location, lovely 1930s style bar, excellent service. About 800 francs for a double--and they have lovely attic duplexes for a bit more money.

Wherever you choose, enjoy your stay!
