Paris Left Bank Family Hotels

Does anyone have any suggestions as to reasonably priced hotels in Left Bank (5th or 6th) with rooms big enough for family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids)? Thank you.

Try the Cluny Sorbonne. We stayed there in 1999. It is across the street from the Sorbonne University and near the Luxumberg metro/train. We ended up taking two rooms (Five people) but I think they have a larger triple room that would work for 4. http://hotel-cluny.fr/

Hotel Delhy, rue Hirondelle. A few steps to the St Michel RER/metro stop on a pedestrian only street. Four person rooms (two doubles; or a double, single and rollout futon) for about $100 per night. Toilets down the hall, but some double rooms have shower/sink in the room.
http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUrl-g187147-d220007-r391344-e__2F__Hotel_Review__2D__g187147__2D__d220007__2D_ _Reviews__2D__Delhy_s_Hotel__2D__Paris_Ile_de_Fran ce__2E__html-Delhy_s_Hotel-Paris_Ile_de_France.htmlhttp://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUrl-g187147-d220007-r391344-e__2F__Hotel_Review__2D__g187147__2D__d220007__2D_ _Reviews__2D__Delhy_s_Hotel__2D__Paris_Ile_de_Fran ce__2E__html-Delhy_s_Hotel-Paris_Ile_de_France.html

If you're staying for at least a week, look into renting an apartment. You'll probably be able to get something with two sleeping areas (bedroom, and a pullout in the living space) for not much more.

I'm not sure when you are visiting but I believe the Hotel du Danube located on rue Jacob, 6th dist., has what they refer to as an apartment. That should fit your family of four.

Also the Hotel de Saint-Germain on rue du four in the 5th dist. has family rooms which are two interconnecting rooms with their own separate bathrooms. However, I've read that the rooms are on the tiny side.

Hotel de Fleurie, which has the same owner as the Hotel de Saint-Germain, has family rooms but are expensive-approx. high 200 euro to 300 euro plus. However, the hotel gets favorable reviews all the time. It's located on rue Gregoire-de-Tours in the 6th dist.

You can also look into apartments.
