Deborah Ann,
I used the link you gave me and requested rates two days ago. I have not heard back from them! Is that the way you make reservations? I am going to try for the hotel de college france and then go with the California Saint Germain as a backup as I can get a rate of 85E there (special)!

wtggirl,Yes, I used the form that is provided. When are you going? I have also called them directly. Everyone except the personnel serving breakfast speak some English. The men at the front desk speak four or five languages as the hotel is popular with business people also. I will also check if there is another way to contact them. I think I saved my bill from our last stay. Good luck. Deborah

Thanks! I am needing two rooms early November. I did see another webpage, but I was not sure if it was directly with the hotel. I may check it out anyway. I am actually flying over with my husband on the 7th. Then my Mom and 18yr. old daughter will be coming over 2 days later. Then my husband and daughter leave to go home the 13th, while my Mom and I stay until the 15th. Lucky me, I get to stay the whole 10 days. So, our reservation is a bit confusing!

I stayed at Hotel Clos Medicis last November and found it to be a great value. The hotel staff was friendly, rooms nicely decorated and very clean. The plus for me was the woodburning fireplace in the lobby. Great to enjoy after a long day of sightsseing.

wtggirl,Your trip sounds like one I did a couple of years ago for a three week stay in Paris involving my husband, adult son, three sisters, my daughter and her best friend, her mother and aunt. Not THOSE were confusing reservations.

Using site I gave you and using the reservation form should have told you if they had a room available. If it went through for the days you requested they most likely have availability.

When I have made my reservations they are usually six months out or more because I love the location. As I remember when I have called after submitting the form it is always like "But of course we have your reservation, Madame" ;;)

If you used www.hotel-collegedefrance.com it should work. Can't wait to hear about your vist. Have a great one. Deborah
