Hello,
I am planning a trip to Paris with my two teen children for 6 days; arriving in Paris the afternoon of day 1.
I am hoping to visit/ do the following locations and would love any input as to how to fit everything in each day based on their proximity to each other and the time it might take to see each attraction. Also, please let me know if you think I have missed a "must see" location.

Hi robinray! Six days in Paris: that sounds great!!

In what part of town will you be staying, and what day of the week is your Day 1? Also, a little less importantly, what time of year will this be?

It's best to group things together geographically. For example, if the flea market you want to go to is the one at Clignancourt, that's not too far from Sacre Coeur. A stroll up the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe is also a good combination.

Also, is there something your teen kids are interested in, or will that be covered by your list? As I'm sure you know, there's so much to see in Paris beyond the "big sites", so knowing a little more on their interests and yours will help.

I would add Sainte Chapelle the day you see Notre Dame, for its glorious stained windows.

The Eiffel Tower and the Musee d'Orsay are in the same general area.

I really liked the catacombs when we went and with teens it might be a nice change from museums. The tourist entrance is a little out of the way depending on where you're staying but I thought it was definitely worth it. It's also something to do if it's too hot or raining.

I think if you follow Nikki's suggestion and add Sainte Chappelle and perhaps a Seine cruise on Vedettes du Pont Neuf, you will have a lovely trip to Paris. If you like gardens, visit Luxembourg Gardens and the Rodin sculpture garden and if you are a fan of Monet, try to get to the Orangerie.

While that's true for a number of the major sights, FWIW, l'Arc de Triomphe isn't exactly close; Sacre Coeur and the catacombs entrance aren't even remotely near the river.

The catacombs, Luxembourg Gardens and the Vedettes boat ride are all great suggestions for things to do with younger people - though without knowing more about the OP and what time of year the trip will be, it's hard to provide much more!
