Paris in September

Three of us are traveling to Paris September 16, 2002 for 3-4 nights, can you recommend a B&B or hotel within price range of 100-150 EURO in the Montparnasse district, we were told it was a nice area with access to all sights.

Whereas the Montparnasse quartier is not very far from the sights, I think there are better areas, such as the 5,6, or 7 arrondissements, which are in the heart of the more interesting places. And there are many good budget hotels in the area.
