Paris in March - Help

Go-Today has a great deal for Paris in the spring and I just found out that I can go! The last travel day for this particular special is March 24th. I know a lot of you Francophiles have been there at that time of year, so I would really appreciate some feedback on the weather during the latter part of March.
Thanks for any info you can provide!

You'll probably have mostly pleasant weather in late March, but snow is also a possibility (especially in higher elevations like Montemarte). You might dress in layers so if you have temperatures ranging from 40-70 degrees F within one day, you are covered. And always carry an umbrella, even if the sky looks clear.

My experience as well.

Hi
I think 70F in March would be pretty unusual, I haven't always experienced temperatures that warm even in May.
I'd expect temps more toward the middle to low end of the range mentioned above, and rain. Advice about layers and an umbrella are good, plus a raincoat.

That is not to say you shouldn't go, my love of Paris has never depended on the weather. Good thing.

It hit 70 when I was there in late March, this year.

We were in Paris the last week of March this year and the weather was unbelievable -- as Keith said, 60s and 70s the whole time, never needed more than a light jacket, often less. But why are you worrying so soon? Just start checking the 10 day forecast the 2nd week of March. Also, anything you need clothing-wise that you do not bring you can buy in Paris -- and then you'll have a souvenir! I still fondly use my folding umbrella that I bought in San Lorenzo market in Florence when the skies suddenly opened up. As another poster said, Paris isn't about the weather -- enjoy!

Gina-we took Go-Today trip to Paris this year, 3/26-4/2. It was quite a good deal ! As previous posters stated, the weather was perfect.

I lucked out in March too, but that's all it was but luck. The next week it rained.

The weather is usually unpredictible something like where I live-San Francisco. It was in the low 70's last October for a couple of days when we arrived and then the third day it became very cold and drizzly. And another time when we visited in April it was cold and drizzly. But as was reported here, it was in the 70's in March this year. Just pack a rain coat just in case.
