PARIS IN LATE OCTOBER/NOVEMBER

We want to go to Paris late October earily November for vacation and was wondering if it will be too cold to enjoy it? It will be our first time in europe but our vacation time doesn't start until october. What do you think? Thank You.

Paris is lovely in October/November but it will be cool. Make sure you're going to have warm clothes. If you're warm, Paris is great.

Our favorite trip to Paris was from late October to mid-November. You're bound to have some rain and some cool weather, but it's not likely to be frigid. The sunny days will be glorious. And the city looks beautiful at that time of year. Bring a pair of low heeled waterproof walking boots, an umbrella, gloves, scarf, a medium weight coat (or one with a removable liner) and you should be warm and dry.
If the weather is cold and/or blustery then do any sightseeing along the Seine during the day because it can get pretty chilly along the river at night, esp. if it's windy.
I would far rather be in Paris in November than in July or August.
Just one caution: there is a pretty big medical conference in Paris Oct. 21-25 which may have an impact on hotel availability, esp. if you were planning to use points to stay at a hotel that caters to business travelers.

RAINCOAT! You won't need a zip-out lining, though, which will make it easier. Waterproof shoes if you're going to walk lots. Layers. A scarf. You'll enjoy it in cool weather; the Parisians do.

Weather will be fine. Bring a jacket and a fab scarf or two.
