ta3153, I'm so glad you saw this and took the time to reply. Thank you for the photos and details! I was in Paris at the beginning of January many years ago and it was very cold then too. It really makes a difference. Your information is very helpful, especially the restaurant info. And I love the photo at the end. You both look great and very Parisian!

Leely2, DH had 3 layers, smart wool socks plus a buff that he pulled over his nose while walking. I’m wearing 4 layers including cashmere turtleneck, down vest and down coat. Plus fur hat and scarf. Actually pretty comfortable except for my hands even wearing cashmere lined gloves. |
