Paris in early December

I'll be there from Nov. 29 - Dec. 8th. What kind of holiday sights/sounds/foods/shops MUST i experience? I've been to Paris several times, so I don't need general travel info. Thanks a lot!

Claire~

Start at the vitrines (holiday windows) of Galleries Lafayette and Printemps at dusk, walking towards the Place Madeleine (following the overhead white holiday lights strung across the road)to see the fantastic food shops and decorations of: Fauchon, Madame Sevigne, Maille, Masion du Chocolat,

Take a taxi up the Champs Elysees at night, back to the left bank for a meal of oysters and champagne, walk to Notre Dame to see the creche manger scene, or ice skate in front of the Hotel de Ville...

Enjoy!
Wendy
