Paris in April

My first time in Paris end of April. In the past trips, March or October. I did not get to see any beautiful gardens. Please tell me whether the flowers will be in bloom then.

I was at Versailles in March once - the gardens were just being planted... in Jardin de Tuileries there were new but flowering plants out... Giverny in May was in full bloom....I would venture to say that there will be decent gardens by the end of April, if not matured. Guess you'll find out for yourself!

Hi gg,

We were in Paris end of April 2004.

The chestnuts were in blossom. The Jardin des Plantes was in bloom.

You will see lots of flowers.

Thank you. I would like to check out the Jardin de Plantes, too. What about Promenade Plantees, is it worth visiting?

They didn't write "April In Paris" for nothing. There will be lots of flowers in bloom. Have a great time.

Georgiegirl,

I just talked with my girlfriend in Holland. It's 60F and everything is blooming. This looks like a good spring for flowers in northern Europe.
