Paris: How many miles it is from our hotel to Catacombs?

Our hotel is

HOTEL DES GRANDES ECOLES
75, Rue du Cardinal Lemoine

The catacombs is located on Boulevard Raspail near Avenue Denfert Rochereau.

I would like to know if it is walkable distance. We are walkers and can handle long walks but wonder about this since Paris map is not in miles form to me so I am not sure. I just hope we will not need bus, train or acab for this. Thanks!

Meant to say, hop on the RER-Luxembourg and get off at Denfert-Rochereau, then cross over to the little 'square', and walk around that until you see the entrance.

We walked there and back from quite a bit further, but we're walkers. It isn't all that far from you.
You can take the metro or RER, but then you'd miss that very pleasant walk.

Thanks everyone!

Of course, I rather NOT miss a pleasant walk.

I just heard from a poster on other board that Catacombs isn't open till May. I am going to Paris later this month. I really hope it will be open while we are there! My DK guidebook said nothing about season. Just location and a tour to pay for.

Thanks!

Sorry, but I also heard that the catacombs were closed until sometime in May. It's not a seasonal thing, they were doing some work. Just call first before your family takes that walk. Have a great trip!!
