Paris hotels- can't decide between two.
 

Staying in Paris for 6 nights. Trying to decide which hotel to stay at - Caron de beaumarche or Relais Christine. Realize there is a difference in price - but wondering what to do. Any suggestions?

Given that there's a difference in price, and you want to experience both, why not spend 4 nights in the lesser hotel first, and and then finish your last 2 nights in the higher end hotel? This way you will have a bit more spending money to dine, shop and sightsee.

it's more than the price. I loved the Caron, though it's no way as nice as the Christine but the location and being in the midst of things alone was worth it.

6 nights is too short a stay to change hotels.
Relais Çhristine..if the price makes no difference.

Relais Christine is a much nicer hotel, actually one of my favorites in Paris. I agree with the other posters- would not pack up and move for 3 nights. The neighborhoods are only about 30 min. walking distance from each other, anyway.

Are you torn because you want to experience both hotels and/or areas? Then another vote for splitting the stay between the two hotels. We do this all the time when our stay at a city is more than four nights.

Could you tell me more about your stay at the Caron. We were concerned about the room size. What type of room did you have and how big are the rooms? Anything else to tell me to help me make a decision? thanks

My room was small. Breakfast very good and I mostly loved the location and the owner was very kind. Be aware that what the French call a coutyard is an airshaft!
