Aren't the rooms at C.de B. small? I haven't stayed at either... also isn't the 'Residence' like efficiency suites? Much better value if so.

..are you looking for a quad? This is the exception rather than the rule in Paris. There have been a number of postings re quad rooms paris. Try typing this in. I am almost sure the Cde B does not have a quad room. Have you considered an apt?

We got an apartment last summer for a family of four. We were only there for three nights before going on to London, so it's not like you are required to spend an entire week to get an apartment. We used an agency called Vacation in Paris and had a good experience.
