Paris hotels

I will be spending a weekend in paris with my husband and we'd like to use our starwood points. We have the choice of the Westin or the Prince de Galles - does anyone have a recommendation or experience with either hotel??
Thanks, Jody

The Westin,in my opinion, has a nicer location (closer to the Seine and Louvre) than the Prince de Galles. Both are almost rated alike at Trip Advisor with the Westin a little bit more ahead.

I would also like to know if anyone has any experience with either of these hotels...

Someone gave an update today on the Westin:

I'm just back from Paris and can share a few things on the Westin.

1) The location is great if you like to walk. In good good place for most site seeing and some decent places to eat nearby.

2) The hotel is expensive (and I don't just mean the rooms). Breakfast runs from $35-50 per person. A pot of coffee or tea is 9 euros. Internet access is 25 euros per day.

3) I used SPG points to get our room. Upgraded to a deluxe room for 13,500 points per day (as opposed to 12,000 for a standard room). Got further upgraded a check-in to an executive suite (rack rate of 1400 euro per night). Nice and big... two rooms, walk in closet, nice bath, flat screen tv, etc.
