Paris Hotels

Have narrowed my search to two hotels. They are as follows:

Hôtel du Danube
Hotel Villa Panthéon

Does anyone have any comments on either hotel?

Thanks...
Stayed in the Danube about 3 years ago, it was nice, affordable, clean and the staff is excellent. You cannot ask for a better location.
I have stayed many times in Danube and love it. I feel I kow Francois and Severin so well they are like family now. I can't speak for the Pantheon but the Danube is home to me in Paris

We just stayed at Danube 3/9/03 4 nights. This is my second time, I will not stay anywhere else. PJ

Stayed at the Du Danube last October. The room was fine--good size, nice antique furniture, well lit, good bathroom. The location was the best part!

Severin is very responsive. Quick to answer e-mails, quick to offer help. They made all our dinner reservations and everything went off without a hitch.

The only downside was the noise. We could hear everything in the room next to us and they moved the trashcans around through the courtyard at night.

I'd stay there again, but I also plan to look into the Milleseme, which friends have used and I've heard great things about (same street--Rue Jacob).

I'll be there next week and will let you know how it is! Thanks for this thread. I'm really looking forward to a pleasant stay at this hotel now.
