Paris Hotels??

Any suggestions on a decent hotel in the heart of Paris? I'll be there three days at the beginning of April and want the hotel to be centrally located to all the 'hot' spots. thx

Bourgogne-Montana
Madison
Atel de Notre Dame
Don't know your budget - but staying on the Ile St. Louis is the best - right in the middle - bridges to the left and right banks - with Notre Dame in front..very quiet too.
Hotel Jeu du Paume is the best there
or St. Louis, Lutece, etc.
also Hotel Mansart on the right bank - on the Place de Vendome

We stayed at the Hotel Beauborge which is 1/2 block from the Pompideau(sp?) Center. It's 3-4 blocks to the river. It was nice, clean, and reasonable--about $85 USD in June 2000.

Scott, your request is just too broad, you don't give any idea of budget nor what you want in a "hot" spot. However, in general, there are tons of hotels in the Marais, Bastille, Latin Qtr and St-Germain areas which will be central to les spots hot!
