Any Paris hotel recommendations with pool for family of four? Two double beds needed.

Few-ish Parisian hotels have pools (mostly very upscale). And there are relatively few 2 double bed rooms, though they are more common than pools. There are family rooms w/ a double and two twins or space for a rollaway

Seriously, how important is the pool? If not, then consider getting an apartment.

Frankly, I wouldn't consider getting an apartment just because you need two double beds. Are you willing to shell out for two rooms?

I wonder where the apartment is with a pool. What is UP with needing a pool in Paris? LOL

Two hotels with pools are the Ritz and the Bristol.

Hotel Daniel has a pool. Some of the Novotel hotels have pools. The Novotels may also have rooms with 2 double beds. The American chain hotels in Paris, suchas the Westin, may also have 2 double beds and/or pools.

Note that the above are mostly in the 4* or 5* category with rates to march. A hotel in Parris with a pool is likely to be a very expensive one.

I seen to recall that one of the hotel search engines - perhaps expedia? - allows you to select for specific amenities. That's where I would chart - then you can check out availability and cost of double double rooms.

pool not too important though I thought it would be nice to come back to after a day of sight seeing in late July. Definitely need the beds as my husband is 6'6 and 12 year old is 5'6. Prefer to stick with one room but not sure that will happen

You might try searching for Fodorite poster Patty's Paris trip reports. She and her husband stay someplace with a pool, cannot remember which hotel. Think it's the Renaissance Vendome, but there may be another as well. Don't know about two double beds, though.

Yup we've stayed at the Renaissance Vendome twice and it has a pool and I agree it was refreshing on a summer afternoon after walking around in the heat. It's a lovely boutique hotel. However their standard rooms are tiny and even their suites have a maximum occupancy of 3 so you'd need 2 rooms.

I love hotels with pools and stay at them frequently in Germany and Switzerland, but even at the top hotels with pools in Paris, the pools are pretty small. If you like swimming, why not pick a hotel near a good indoor pool?

Places like the Renaissance Vendome will from €350-€600+ per room per night and you need two rooms.

Here's an exhaustive list of rooms for 4 people in Paris - I suggest starting with those with the best TA reviews in the 4th, 5th, or 6th. Even that will take some time.

There is a pool at an Ibis hotel out on the edge in the 17th, and it's a nicer Ibis. Other than luxury hotels, mainly hotels with pools are in the burbs, of course. Novotel is a good idea as they have some family rooms, check out their website.

The Novotel Tour Eiffel also has a pool (on quai de Grenelle)

This is the Ibis with a pool out near Porte de Clichy, they only have 9 family rooms in the whole hotel (this is always a problem, those rooms are very limited in all hotels). This locaiton isn't as convenient as Gare de Lyon or the one on the Seine, I think.

Hotel du Danube is 250€ for the two connected rooms with double beds.
