Paris hotel w/kitchenette

Inadvertently posted under "Europe" instead of "France" so am reposting.
My husband & I will be in Paris in Sept. We'd prefer an apartment but,due to concern we might have to cancel if problems arise with NW Airlines where we've booked frequent flier seats, are thinking a hotel would be a less risky choice as we could forfeit a sizable deposit with an apt. Does anyone know of a comfortable hotel that has rooms with kitchenettes, or at least a functioning refrigerator? Thanks.

You might check Citidines. They are apartments but work more like a hotel. I could be mistaken but I think they don't require a major (or maybe even any) forfeiture of deposit.

Trois Poussins on rue Clauzel in the 9th has rooms with kitchenettes. We checked it out for some friends when we stayed in the 9th. It seemed clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We don't know anyone who has stayed there yet.

yanne, just so you know, there is only one Europe Board. Selecting "France" is just a 'tag' for searching/filtering purposes.

There was a recent thread that discussed hotels with refrigerators in Paris. If this link doesn't work, try putting "diabetic paris" into the search bar . . .

Hi Vanne, I just rented a cute studio on St. Paul... you can see it at: www.ourhomeinparis The owner seems like a terrific guy... he lives in the US and works with the hotel listed at the bottom of his page for check-in, concierge, etc....

I just checked out the site....http://www.ourhomeinparis.com/index....ome_saint_paul

It looks amazing... I will have to remember ... WHEN I go back to Paris... HOPEFULLY soon ....

kathypdoe, are you saying this guy doesn't charge anything if you cancel a reservation "last minute"? If you have read the original post, you must realize that is the main concern the poster has about renting an apartment.

These are some good suggestions. It really gives us some options. I still hope we can get an apartment, but it's great to have some other good choices.
Thanks

My email from the hotel states..."Full refund with 30 days notices of cancellation." I think that is fair...
