Paris Hotel question, and yes, I've searched...

Periodically I have to do an overnight in Paris for work. I need to stay fairly centrally, although nowhere in particular, for clients who move about but who are usually in the 8th. I works like to find somewhere with decent sized rooms with BATHS, and, preferably, a nice cosy lounge and/ or terrace where one can rake a glass and read a book. I've stayed in lots of nice places- last night was no exception- the Astor St Honore- but I've never found the whole package.

Last night, I loved the room, but downstairs was too upscale and Empire furniturey, to kick off ones shoes and chill. So, as usual, I ended up in a neighbourhood brasserie, which was OK, but not ideal.

From you own experience, would you recommend me somewhere? Please?

What is your price range?

Maybe up to €250?

I love the Hotel Royal St Honore. It has a cosy bar downstairs where you can sit and watch Rue St Honore, it has rooms with bathtubs and some have little balconies. No terrace but it is small, has lovely staff and is in a great location.
