Paris Hotel near the Louvre?
 

I plan on going to Paris with my girlfriend
for a long shopping weekend in November. I
would love to hear your recommendations of
lovely hotels in the area of the Louvre.
I would prefer to spend no more than 200-300
euros per night.

I have read good comments about Hotel Brighton (Tuileries view rooms are the best) and Relais St. Honore.

Two possibilities: the Hôtel Mansart, just off the Place Vendôme, and the Royal St-Honoré. Both are within easy walking distance of the Louvre and are near good restaurants.

I usually stay at the Mayfair Hotel.

I personally can recommend the Hotel Relais du Louvre. Out the front door, look to your left, et voila... the east facade of the Louvre. Lots of amenities there...AND its in your budget.
