Paris Hotel inquiry

We are planning a stay in Paris the first week of December. Friends from Germany are meeting us and have recommended a hotel, but have not stayed there in the last 10 years. Has anyone stayed at the Regina De Passy at 6rue de la Tour?
The next question what experience does anyone have with the Hotel Langlois in the 9th arrondisement?
Thank you for all comments.

Tripadvisor.com has 1 review for the Regina de Passy that is not so good. But the Langlois got many great reviews there. www.tripadvisor.com

Paris: Regina De Passy Hotel: "Don't believe the brochure"

The brochure said "quiet side street". In fact very busy one way street and very noisy from early morning to late evening and through the night.Brochure said "air con". Not in our room. Or the alternative we were offered. We had to keep the windows open which meant not a lot of sleep because of the traffic. See above."Excellent Service" said the brochure. The receptionist wouldn't book us a taxi because he was too busy....didn't look like it to me. We couldn't afford to wait at a taxi rank by this time so had to walk to the Trocadero 15 minutes away with all our baggage. The milk and orange juice at breakfast were unrefrigerated.A receptionist on duty on our arrival did point us out an excellent restaurant though, Le Flandrin.

I found an earlier post on this board about Hotel Langlois for you (you can do a ?Search? on the forum).

Message: "I have stayed at the Langlois and it is definitely a boutique hotel. It's a lovely hotel with a fabulous staff. The windows open. The windows in our room were very large. We had a courtyard view which isn't pretty, but it is quiet. Our bathroom was huge. It's very clean. You can walk up the beautiful staircase or take the little elevator. The hotel is like out of a Katherine Hepburn or Audrey Hepburn movie. It was elegant, cozy, comfortable, romantic and a great place to stay. You won't be disappointed..."

LOL, kbob. Stayed at the Regina twice in the '80s and loved it. Adorable French elevator, the aroma of baking french bread wafting through the windows in the early morning. Sorry I can't be of help, but thanks for the memories!
