Paris hotel help: Castille/de Vendome/Lotti/Pont Royal

I am trying to decide between the following hotels for a visit of a few days next month (travelling solo). My only other visit to Paris I stayed in the Hotel du Louvre which is unavailable this time. I have already read the reviews on tripadvisor, etc., so any additional comments would be much appreciated. I have my choices down to the following:

1. Castille Sofitel Demeure: 275 E/nt (superior double)
2. Hotel de Vendome: 260 E/nt (single) or 310 E/nt (double)
3. Hotel Pont Royal: 315 E/nt (deluxe double)
4. Jolly Hotel Lotti: 289 E/nt (deluxe double)

I have also looked at the Champs Elys. Plaza (290 E/nt junior suite) but it might be a bit too far from where I want to stay.

The Lotti rooms which overlook rue Castiglione are large with high ceilings; street noise is minimal. A great value in this pricey area. The rooms in the back are much smaller-avoid if possible. JP

Pont Royal I was interested in except I decided against it just because the rates are more than I can really afford. But I did manage to have some nice correspondences with the res. manager, Peggy Léon-Courmontagne, and their helpful concierge, Pierre Tieng. I was interested in it not only because of the room but especially because of its St. Germain location.

I've stayed at the Pont Royal a couple of times, but prior to the renovation. I loved the location and the neighborhood. Actually, I really liked the hotel back then, so I can only imagine it is very nice now. I was disappointed that it was closed for renovation the last time I was in Paris.

I remember the rooms being a bit on the small side, but I also had a single both times I stayed there. One time I had a pretty nice view across the nearby rooftops and out to the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

Thanks Andre - I think I will take Castille off of my list. Anybody have any thoughts on the others?
