OK, For 6 nights. I was multi-tasking and didn't notice that it was for 6 nights. You almost sent me into shock. :wow: LOL! Yes, that is a really good price for 6 nights. I took my mom to Paris in November of around 2007, I think it was, and paid around the same amount per night. We were there for 7 nights. But, I also stayed there several times in much later years and the rates that I got were still excellent. I think the most that I paid was right under $300 a night for a room there, but my other stays were much less.

If you're looking for a place with character and charm, there are some great boutique hotels in Paris that offer a more personal experience compared to larger chains. I stayed in one near the Marais, and it had a cozy feel with beautifully designed rooms.

I stayed near Luxembourg Gardens and loved the quieter vibe with easy metro access. Tons of little cafes around, and it felt less touristy but still super central for everything.

In 2022 we stayed at the Pullman Tour EIffel. It is a large, modern hotel with a perfect location to see the EIffel tower at night. The rooms were VERY large but about $400 a night for 2 queen beds. The restaurant was wonderful, as well as the staff. They had very modern bathrooms with deep tub/shower combo. Myself and other older guests were leary of using the tub for fear of falling. Oddly, the room had very little closet and drawer space, so we kept most of our clothes in our suitcase.
We were told there were no Metro stations close by, but I preferred using Ubers anyway.
I have since looked into some hotels in the the St Germain area in the 6th arr. It's an old very quaint area. The rooms also about $400 US daily. The rooms and elevators appear tiny.
I have also seen some nice apts for rent on Paris Vacation Apartments. They get good reviews, but I have never used them. You will find the same apts are on Air Bnb which has added fees therby costing more for the same place. These apts book up way in advance on both sites.
You may need to stay a little further away maybe by the Luxembourg Garden area to get cheaper rates. After trying to find things on my own, I decided I got more bang for my buck booking a tour.

Hello dear people. my Paris trip was last October, and I stayed at Hotel Saint Christophe in the 5th.
Hotel was perfectly fine. Room was tiny. It was around the corner from a Metro which was important.
We could also walk to the Seine and Notre Dame.
Would I stay here again - No I do not think so. Once was Ok, but for a second trip I would try a different area and perhaps a bit nicer hotel where the room was a bit bigger. People there were lovely.
