I will be in Paris with my family including 17 and 15 year old daughters. Looking for Foderite help in recommending a Hotel accomodating 4 in Paris' central area.
Thank you.

With 2 teenage daughters, I'd be looking for two rooms, or 'connecting' rooms, just to have 2 bathrooms. You should be able to accomplish this for just a bit more than the price of a 'quad' room. Will you require air-conditioning (June-August)..?

We're heading to Paris at the end of July. I've booked the Bleumarine Montparnasse Hotel. The family rooms are more like jr suites with a.c. and reasonable priced. I'll report further when I get back if you're interested.

By the way it's not bang smack in the centre of Paris but close enough and close to the Metro.

Begbie, are you connected with Destinia.com? Just wondering, since your only posts are to mention this site for Paris and Munich...
Anyway, the op is looking for a more personalized recommendation.

In May I stayed at the Hotel Jeanne d'Arc in Le Marais (4th arrondisment). It's central to everything and the St Paul metro is a couple of blocks away if your feet are tired at the end of a long days walking.

While I had a single room, I peeked a look at the larger rooms with 2 double beds. The prices were very reasonable (I thought) so maybe you could get 2 rooms if the girls don't want to share a bed.
Check them out at ww.hoteljeannedarc.com

Otherwise maybe look at getting an apartment so you have to convenience of a kitchen, laundry and more living space.

We stayed in adjoining rooms at Hotel de France Invalides this past April with our 2 daughters, ages 12 and 13. We thought it was a great hotel. The Eiffel Tower is an easy 10 minute walk, and the hotel is located within a couple of blocks of 2 different metro stations. We paid 150 euro/night, which I thought was very reasonable.

Hi K,

I agree about getting two rooms and two bathrooms.

We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 124E dbl w/bkfst. It is located near 3 metro stops. Has AC

For more info, enter "Hotel Bonaparte" in the "search this forum" box.

At the Bonaparte, rooms 18 and 19 (and equivalent on other floors) are adjacent at the end of a short corridor. Room 18 has a double bed, faces the street and 19 has twin beds, faces the courtyard with a bathroom window on the street.

Please don't cram 4 people (and teenagers are people :-) ) into one room. Seriously, do what everyone else recommends and get connecting rooms. You will be getting two bathrooms too and with 2 teen-age daughters I would not want to have 4 people sharing a bathroom.

There has been a post on this board and on Frommers about someone with adult age "children" looking for a room for four people. I realize technically speaking your kids are not adults, but at 17 & 15 I am sure they do not sure your bedroom at home so give yourselves all some "space" and go for two rooms. It would be easier to find then a "quad" and you won't be falling over one another. Paris hotel rooms are small.

There are "family type connecting rooms" at the Hotel Relais Bosquet in the 7th Arr. I know, we have seen them. There is a little hallway of "your own" with the two rooms off it. It's a nice arrangement for a family with kids as old as yours are.

Darn this board - you can't edit once it is posted .. I meant to say you do not "share" a room at home.
