While I haven't stayed there, if you put Hotel Fleurie in the search box, you will find all kinds of info there--including some very positive reviews.

The hotel is as lovely as the website shows: small, well-appointed rooms with lovely marble bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. While we haven't stayed there lately, recent reports indicate that the hotel is still a good choice.

I just checked www.ratestog.com and they have 3 double rooms at the Fleurie for E150 for the 15th/16th. Here's the link:

Good luck!

When my aunt and uncle lived in London, they'd take the chunnel to Paris for weekends and the only hotel they ever stayed in was the Hotel de Fleurie. Many years later, they're still raving about how nice it is--for its location, the friendliness of the people working there, and its charm.

It consistently gets favorable reviews so I wouldn't worry at about staying there. I just saw it recommended on Patricia Wells' website, among other places.
