Paris-hotel d'angleterre

Has anyone stayed at Hotel d'Angleterre? Mom and two teen age daugters are going in June,

Have stayed there -- excellent location and comfortable (but not plush) rooms in St Germain des Pres. But, as with many well-known hotels in that area, you will pay more than you would for similar accommodations most anywhere else in the city. Finding a room large enough for 3 people may also be a challenge.

aren't there two hotels by the same name? make sure which one is yours..

Yep - there are two Angleterres. The one on 44 R Jacob is very nice, perfect location, and as the name implies - they speak English.

LOL, Stu.
The D'Angleterre on rue Jacob -
www.hotel-dangleterre.com
gets its name from being the English Embassy in 1783.
But the staff at the desk does speak English, they are formal and polite and very good at their jobs.
We have stayed there for many years now and have never had a bad experience.
The location is excellent, it is not an inexpensive hotel though.
They do have connecting rooms and they have large rooms..look at the site, perhaps you can find something that will suit you.
Good luck, I love the D'Angleterre~
