Paris-Hotel Dacia Luxembroug
Has anyone stayed here recently? It has a few mixed reviews on tripadvisor. The hotel wrote that "Mostly the triple room is not on the boulevard but on a calm little street so not a real view." We're looking for a moderately priced hotel (100-150 euros) for 2 adults and 1 child (one room) in the 5th/6th for June.

YOu can check reviews on www.paris.org/Hotels, also.
I believe that hotel fronts on bd St Michel and backs onto a smaller street, Champollion. It's a few doors north towards the Seine from place de la Sorbonne. A very convenient location. Backing on that other street should be quieter, actually. However, that is really kind of more like an alley so not scenic, I suppose that's what the hotel meant -- don't expect some great view. |
Hmmm almost 5 years ago now, but a friend and I stayed there and liked it very much. He'd stayed there once previous. And yes the front rooms looked out over St Mich and the back rooms over an alley. I thought it was a good value for the price and the location was very central (near to Sorbonne on the map, is how we kept track of it!).
