Paris, Hotel Bonaparte, paid WiFi in rooms?

Staying at the Hotel Bonaparte for eight days. They have free WiFi in the breakfast rooms but no word on internet in the rooms themselves. I don't mind paying but I'd like to make Skype calls from my room and surf the web for itinerary info.

Has anyone stayed there and used internet in the room? Thanks!

Did you ask the hotel if Wifi extended to the rooms?

Hi DA,

AFAIK, they don;t have internet connection in the rooms, but I suggest that you ask them.

Hey fl,

I have no fiduciary or other association with the hotel. Although, I think that they ought to comp me a night now and then.

In case anyone is looking for this info -- there was wireless in the breakfast area only, but it was down for 75% of my trip. It wasn't too problematic but stay elsewhere if wifi is a must. (Sounds like this happens regularly.)

There are hot spots all over Paris. You could have gone anywhere and been connected.

Well, it is just disappointing, to say the least, if you book a hotel because WiFi is promised but not really available or reliable...

You can go "anywhere", not to be confused with all over, no matter where you stay.

I have stayed at Hotel Bonaparte 5 times. There is not wifi in the rooms, but I have never had a problem with the connection in the lobby-breakfast room. One night there were 4 of us sitting in the lobby with our laptops. The desk clerk brought us cappuccinos...nice treat.
