Paris hotel adjoining rooms for 5

We are looking for 2 connecting rooms for family of 5, really need 2 bathrooms! Need ac (August), cable TV, good location, preferably 6th or 7th. Would like to pay around 300 Euro for both rooms/night. We love good coffee, in the room but good breakfast is not necessary. We have to be able to have snacks in our room & have an allergic/asthmatic child so no smoke or pet dander. I know this is very specific but if anyone has any specific suggestions, I would appreciate it.

I have to admit, this is just a wish list. We will only have a couple of days in Paris, so good location is the key! Thanks!

Have a look at the Hotel Suede Saint Germain, a 3 hotel, it is in the 7th, but very close the the 6th. They have Suite at 230€ in August. Normally, it is for 4 persons but it depends of the age of your children, maybe it is possible to add a little bed or that your children sleep all together...
In suite, there is air-contionong, it is non-smoking rooms , cable-satelite. The hotel is in a calm street and the metro stop in not far away...You are very close to Saint Germain at walking distance! Breakfast is very good...
yes, maybe this hotel could match your criteria!
Have a look at the website: http://www.suede-saint-germain.com
Have a wonderful trip!

Try the excelsior. I think that they have 1 5 person room but I can't remember. You may have to call.

Ira has stated several times that the Hotel Bonaparte has more than one set of rooms that are on a corner and next to each other (may not adjoin, but doors are close). And that they have AC. I also think the price range is right, and that the hotel and location are loved by many here. You can search for "bonaparte" for more info. There are lots of posts on it here.

Try the Best Western Derby Eiffel
http://linktrim.com/1mi

also Les Jardins d'Eiffel
- see www.france-hotel-guide.com

for either 'family room' or adjoining or nearby twin+triple. You'll have to ask if they allow pets or not. Both have A/C, cable TV and no-smoking rooms.

Many thanks all! I am particularly interested in Orsay & Rodin Museums if there's anything close to those locations.

bien sur!
Hotel Palais Bourbon, 7th
http://www.bourbon-paris-hotel.com/

rooms for 2 and for 3, 120-150€

Travelnut Mar 5th, 2005 06:28 AM

I retract the above - evidently, they allow smoking in the lobby, possibly the rooms, and posters on TA commented on this several times.

BetsyG Mar 6th, 2005 12:52 PM

Travelnut - thanks for the info. It looks like there are several Best Westerns that may be okay, prices for 2 rooms seem very reasonable, comparatively. Palais Bourbon was on my list so I may cross it off.

Hi Betsy,

Th Bonaparte might not be suitable for you. I think they have a cat, and smoking is allowed.

BetsyG Mar 8th, 2005 04:56 PM

Thanks Ira, I was concerned about the cat. Appreciate your coments!

BetsyG, this may not be what you are looking for, but Le Meridien Montparnasse has nonsmoking floors. I think very few smaller hotels in Paris would have this, so there are definite advantages to staying at a large chain property. There were smokers in the lobby, though, but it is possible to quickly bypass them.

BetsyG Mar 10th, 2005 05:50 PM

WillTravel - thanks, will put Le Meridien Montparnesse on the list. Don't need a smoke free hotel but if smoke free rooms are available, that would be best.
