Hello. Does anyone know about Grand Hotel des Balcon in the Old Saint-Germain part of the city.

Have you looked it up at www.tripadvisor.com?

Do a search here for Balcons and you should find several reviews (mostly positive) here. I've stayed there twice. It is very close to the Odeon metro and Luxembourg RER. They have a great breakfast buffet if you like a big meal at that time of day. I think it is a great hotel. What time of year are you going? It does not have AC, which is the only reason I did not stay there last summer.

Going first week in Nov. Figure it shouldn't be too hot then.
Sounds like a good place to stay.

How about the Paris France hotel in the Le Marais part of town?

I have read reviews on both these hotels, but hopeing someone here will tip the balance.
