Paris Hotel

I need help! I'm have arranged a last minute trip to Paris next month and I'm having a very difficult time securing a hotel that isn't in the $400 range. I'm looking for a 3-4 star hotel in the 5th, 6th, 7th or 1st. I have contacted at least 20 hotels and they are full or the price is not in my budget. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Cinzia

If you go to a 2 star that will really improve your chances. I honestly don't know that the difference is between 2 and 3 but it may not be a huge thing at all. There are some fine 2 stars.

Try the Hotel Pas de Calais. It's on the border of the 6th and 7th, at 59, rue des Saints-Peres. Super clean, helpful staff and great neighborhood for walking and window shopping. I've stayed there for nearly a dozen years and have never been disappointed.

For that price forget a 4* at this point. Look at 3* - or perhaps a nice 2*. You're talking high season at the last moment and the bargains are long gone.

Have you looked at venere.com? You can search by price, * and area.

Try http://www.accorhotels.com .

Alternatively, you could bid for a 4* hotel in the Opera Quarter East zone on Priceline - no other zone will do for what you want.

Also try ratestogo.com and laterooms.com .

Try the Mansart, a pleasant 3* just off the Place Vendôme. Lots of European regulars.
