Paris Honeymoon

We will be in Paris for our honeymoon in early October of 09. Both my fiancé and I have been to Paris in the past (so we've done the touristy stuff...Eiffel tower, arc the triomphe, etc...) and are looking to relax and enjoy the city. We've rented an apartment in the 6ieme right by the St-Sulpice church. I am writing today to get recommendations of spots to visit, places to eat, relax, etc... What are memorable experiences you have of Paris that you would recommend to someone!
Many thanks, Jennifer

Congrats...

I plan on making some memories,as we are going to Paris soon too. I have been once before. DH has never been. We will see some of the big sites but we plan to do alot of strolling and people watching from cafes.

I look forward to shopping for picnic items at Rue Mouffetard Market then going to Luxumborg garden with my husband.

We plan to go to Pont Neuf at least one evening to watch lights of Eiffel Tower.

For us, just walking together and seeing new sites will be a thrill. No big sites or destination needed.

Best wishes on your upcoming marriage! Paris is such a wonderful place for your honeymoon.

One of my favorite cafes to sit and watch the world go by is right next to St. Sulpice: Cafe de la Mairie. It's nothing fancy, but the people-watching is great.

We've been to Paris oodles of times, and we love just wandering and exploring different parts of the city, going to markets, and still interspersing it with "touristy stuff." Somehow we never run out of things to see.

Check out some of the less well-known museums. Also see what temporary exhibits are currently there. It's great fun to go to a ballet at the Opera Garnier, even if you're not big ballet fans.

Have a wonderful trip!

Take a cooking class together? I did one with DD this summer through Cookin' with Class and it was a lot of fun.

can anyone suggest a place for me and my husband to get a massage? Or a manicure and pedicure?
