Paris help.

Will be going to Paris in Jan.
Can you recommend a nice hotel in 300.00 range near the Louvre. Is this a good location for walking?

Thanks

Well, I think you have many choices with that $300/night budget. Around the Louvre is very central to walking. As far as hotels have you tried The Regina, Bourgogne & Montana, or Washington Opera?

AS-- I recommend the Hotel Royal St. Honore. We've stayed there several times and have found it to be a wonderful, quiet retreat. Ask for a room on the top floor.

Their website:
http://www.hroy.com/ve/st-honore/accueil_sth-ve.html

Enjoy!

Lisa

This isn't from personal experience, but I think a lot of people like the Hotel du Louvre which sounds appropriate for you.

You might consider the Left Bank. You can be just across the Seine from the Louvre and enjoy the more relaxed setting.
