I will be in Paris from 11 to 26 October. I'll be on my own, so if there is anyone else there during this time period who would like to get together for drinks, lunch or dinner, please let me know.

I'll be staying in two different locations, but can travel about as needed.

I've enjoyed doing this in the past and am always happy to meet new Fodorites.

There is only one 'forum' . . . Europe. One can tag a thread for France or Italy (or France AND Italy) but it will always be on the same - Europe - forum.

See at the bottom of this thread where it says 'Edit Tags'. You can add A France tag there (I just did it for you)

I was thinking of visiting Paris at the end of Oct - but decided to go to the Grand Canyon and Zion instead - Paris will have to wait til next year.

I'm not in Paris this October, but you will be there during the annual Fete des Vendanges Montmartre. It's the grape harvest festival at Sacre Coeur. Wine & food vendors, music, crowds and fun. I've been there several times and it kicks off the weekend you're in Paris. Go early, buy a bottle of wine there, get some tasty snacks, sit on the steps overlooking Paris and enjoy! Saturday 10/14 is the best day to go. So much fun!
