Paris Gardens

Won't have enough time for Giverney. Any suggestions for beautiful gardens/parks in Paris in mid-september?

Try the Jardins de Bagatelle near the Bois de Boulogne. It is famous for its roses and is just a beautiful garden in general.

Parc Monceau is very nice - it's small but has a pond, stream, sculpture. And very central. Obviously Jardin Luxembourg will be wonderful, as it is at any time of year.

Jardins des Plantes (metro Austerlitz).<BR>Was there earlier this week and impressed by the huge variety of flowers and plants. Going back there next time to visit the green houses and Alpine garden.

I second Parc Monceau. It's small, very pretty, fun for people watching and close to other sites. Makes a nice respite from museum-ing!

Try the Romantic Museum in Paris for roses and tea...

Where is the Romantic Museum in Paris? I thought I'd read about all of them? I do wish I'd gotten to the Boes de Bologne.
