Paris for our Honeymoon in April
We are trying to plan a trip to Paris for our Honeymoon at the end of April. We are looking for any suggestions on hotels as close to everything as possible. We love to just walk around and look at Architecture and to just use public transportation to get around. If anyone has any information to help us plan our special trip pleawse do share. Thanks everyone. We are mainly looking for package trips like the ones at Go-Today.com. Where it includes airfare and hotel accomodations for around $600 a person.

well, if you like the ones on Go-Today, they should be fine. A couple other good packagers for Paris you could try are www.francevacation.net or www.offpeaktraveler.com or sometimes Air France (although their hotels are usually limited).
Packages usually have a very limited choice of hotels, so it would probably be better for you to choose one before asking questions about the couple of hotels possible.

Packages like that don't often buy you much over just buying airfare and choosing your own hotel, and doing it yourself gives you the ultimate in flexibility.
Check out now to see what airfare may be going for (but don't buy necessarily - only if the price is right) and do some research here on hotels. You can find many budget hotels that are better than the ones offered through gotoday. Also, most US cities have hefty surcharges on gotoday packages. They're really only useful if you're flying from NYC.

Just make sure the hotels offered in the package are conveniently located and meet your standards. CHeck here and tripadvisor for ocmments on specific hotels.
You should also try pricing the same trip without the package and see how it compares.

We've used Go-Today twice a year for Paris for a few years and love it. Their packages are always what they say they will be. Keep in mind though, that anything under the $700 range in the hotel choices is clean but bare bones. We really like the Villa Montparnasse in the 14th arrondisment. It's about 900 for six days plus airfare. Very romantic, and a good location. Almost everything is within walking distance. We're going again at the end of April as well. By the way, the best place in Paris in the spring is the Luxembourg Gardens on a Sunday afternoon. You'll understand exactly what it means to be Parisian.
