Paris Flights and Itineraries

Shame on me for worrying about this all so late, but does anyone here know of any where you can purchase cheap consolidator airfare online for a round trip flight from DTW to CDG for a July Paris visit? Also, would it be possible for any suggestions for a website where I could find day-by-day Paris itineraries and/or Paris walks? Itineraries you've used or recommend to others that you've found are also welcome. Thanks for all of your wonderful help!

Cheap flight and July don't usually go together...

I can point you to both/either Fodors.com and Frommers.com, which have itineraries of varying lengths. (under Destinations)

Shannon,

Flights - Two websites I've used, flights.com and travelhub.com, are so extremely cheap for flights all across Europe at any time of year, and have had no problems at all. 100% Recommended!

Thanks for the great suggestions!

P.S. Are there any good guide books out there that have some great itineraries for Paris?

Or walking maps and walking itineraries?

Can't help on the tickets but I can a bit on the books.

There are several books with titles like "Paris Walks". You can find them in most big bookstores or online at amazon.com or bn.com. I used the one by Gilles Desmons and liked it but I know there are others similar. Look here for posting by Degas - he has several walks written up.

Just about any guidebook will have itineraries. It has already been suggested that you look at the Destinations tab here for information on Paris. Spend some time at a bookstore and you will likely find more than enough books to fit your needs.

And our own Degas has written some fabulous "walking tours" that are quite extensive.
