I didn't think about the illegality issue. Some people obviously aren't concerned, though, so that's interesting (at least not enough to think a general place on the map shouldn't be shown). It wasn't that they don't give addresses, that one owner wouldn't even give a general indication of the block where it was on the map, like the first one.

Lexi

Did you rent/reserve any of the flats you were interested in?

I have stayed in the apartment directly below the Marais apartment you are considering. It is on a quiet end of rue de Tournelles.

We would rent this apartment again.

Stu- Lexi deleted her account (I clicked her name). I saw her question about budgeting in Paris. Someone called her a troll, and either she was one ( I doubt it, though) or was offended and left.

Too bad!!

If anyone is interested in the Marais apartments Lexi and Judy mentioned, get in touch with each proprietor ASAP to make sure it is still a short-term rental (I have a little "inside" info)

I noticed the Paris Perfect apartment was not on their website last time I looked.

Yep. TPaxe and Auckis had it close. Others in the Apt "voted" to not allow short term rentals - so the owners sold the Sauternes apt.

>>Others in the Apt "voted"<<

Should be "others in the building"
